• Personal Emergency Response Systems –  If you have a mobility impairment and/or live alone,  a safety or security alarm is an excellent option. Such systems consist of an alarm, activated by the touch of a button, connected to your telephone. The alarm button can be worn on a necklace or pocket clip.   In case of a fall or emergency, the alarm button will be pushed.  When activated, the alarm is received at the alarm provider’s call centre.  Some alarm systems offer the possibility of direct contact with emergency services staff.
• A Stair Lift – or chair lifts are basically chairs that travel up and down stairs for people who have difficulty negotiating them.  Defender Electric is able to install the necessary outlets and work with the company supplying the stairlift to ensure seamless installation of your new project.

Everyone’s needs are different when it comes to remaining independent in your home.  We will consult with you on ideas to aid in your safety and comfort some of which may include:
